In partnership with Cottolengo Filipino Inc. - a home for abandoned and disabled children you will be taken on a cultural experience in Rodriguez, Rizal where you will visit with a local nonprofit and learn about Filipino culture through the eyes of a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping abandoned and disabled children.

In our efforts to create a world where nonprofits have the tools to operate, grow, and succeed, 100% of the proceeds from booking this experience will go directly to our partner nonprofit to fund their mission.

Now, let's talk about this great experience! First, we will visit our nonprofit partner's center, and place where your heart will definitely be touched by the kids housed by the organization. We will support the kids by playing with them, dancing, talking, and getting a glimpse into the lives they live and what we can do most to help.

Next, we will have an inspiring conversation with Father Julio Cuesta Ortega, a veteran priest who has spread knowledge and wisdom around the world for decades. He was a priest trainer and a teacher in Italy, Spain, Venezuela, and now in the Philippines. You will have the opportunity to ask him questions about the nonprofit, learn about their mission, and gain a deeper understanding of things we can do in our everyday lives to help children with disabilities.

Father Ortega first studied religion in Italy, and then went to Spain to study theology at the University of Comillas in Madrid, where he was ordained in 1974. He went on to study Pedagogy and was sent to Rome to teach Theology. To this day, he is still part of the congregation known for launching the movement of Luis Orione. Father Ortega now manages Cottolengo Filipino, Inc. a nonprofit religious organization under the management of The Sons of Divine Providence Congregation, with headquarters in Rome, Italy. It is a registered and accredited nonprofit by the Department of Social Welfare and Development in the Philippines.

If you are looking to see a piece of the Philippines through the eyes of a local organization, and support a local nonprofit that loves when locals and travelers come to visit their children, please take part in this wonderful eye-opening experience.
