Description

On this tour we will follow in the foot steps of Pablo Nerudo, the Noble Prize winning poet, whose famous words have filled the hearts of Chileans and people from around the world for decades.

Crossing the beautiful landscapes of Curacavi valley and the vineyards in Casablanca valley - we arrive to the central coast with several small resorts that get thousand of visitors from Santiago every summer. Then we will arrive to Isla Negra. Lying between coastal forests, we will visit the magic house of our poet, Pablo Neruda - where we will see his amazing collections and we will get to know about his special relationship with the sea. You will be amazed as our expert guides explain the strange objects Neruda collected, why he collected them, and where they all came from!

Standing on the top floors of Neruda's home, you will be in awe at the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. After the visit, we will stroll along the paths that inspired Neruda's poetry, and explain how the great poet thought about Chile, it's rich culture, and it's history during his time living in Valparaiso.

We will then go to Pomaire, a small village famous for its clay crafts. Here in Pomaire, local artisans transform clay from the hills into real works of art.

In the village, we will enjoy a traditional and tasty Chilean lunch in one of the well known restaurants, and walk around the streets where craftsmen show their wide variety of clay pottery.

Live the life of Neruda and walk in his footprints. Come join us as we explore Valparaiso on this extraordinary tour of Isla Negra and Pomaire Village!
